Our story started back in 1997, when founder Kerri Binnie (the B in Busy B) was travelling around Australia in an old VW camper van. As a trained product designer, she was always searching for tricky problems to solve. Remembering all the festive clutter that inevitably comes along at Christmas, she improvised with some cereal packets to create early prototypes of a rather nifty Christmas card holder. The following year, New York's MoMA ordered 10,000 of them – and suddenly she was in business!

In the early days, it was just Kerri and her ‘right hand woman’ Rosy, working from a tiny spare bedroom. As the business flourished, they moved into a bigger workspace in Edinburgh, which is now home to an amazing team who are dedicated to helping people make the most of their precious time. As well as our e-store, we're proud to see our award-winning products on the shelves of loads of brilliant shops, including some of the UK’s most high profile retailers.

In the 20 years since Busy B began, the passion, talent and hard work of our carefully handpicked team have been crucial to helping us grow into a well-loved stationery brand. Our home is a beautiful old listed building in central Edinburgh, and that's where everything happens – from designing the products, to liaising with manufacturers, selling to retailers, engaging our consumers, evolving our brand, building our website, and marketing our products. There's so much to do, and it's all about teamwork.
We're a creative, entrepreneurial bunch, with many years of commercial experience and strategic thinking. Busy B is a sales-driven business with around fifteen highly dedicated members of staff working closely together in a friendly, dynamic and happy environment. Everyone makes a difference, and we're all passionate about making Busy B a success. And it's working – business is booming, and we often receive glowing customer feedback about how much they love our products and appreciate our service. We love hearing stuff like that.
