Last year you probably swore to be more organised but before you know it Christmas will be upon us. (Sorry!)
Since we jumped into October, you can’t miss the signs that the season of giving and glitter is only a few weeks away. Supermarkets already have mince pies on and beauty gift packs the shelves and it’s not even Halloween!
That being said, we all want to avoid that last minute panicked dash that just results in buying presents “that will do” rather than something that speaks of our love and appreciation for a person.
A place to start is making a list of the hobbies and interests of the person at hand. We’ve pooled our Christmas organisers from the last few years come up with some ideas that may spark some inspiration.

3. Couples Date Jar
Why not inspire a couple you know to become their very own version of Romeo & Juliet, Bridget Jones & Mark Darcy…or Marge & Homer? A “Date Jar” is a great gift…and even better, you can create it yourself!
So, what will you need?
– Find an empty jar at home (an old jam jar with a gold lid would be perfect!)
– Some nice paper to write on
– A nice pen
– A ribbon to tie around the jar
– A list of 10+ date ideas. You could be as romantic or “fun” as you like – one could be “Try a restaurant you haven’t been to before” or “Do an outdoor water sport together!”
