Top 5 Tips for Becoming a Gift Giving Genius
Give gifts everyone will LOVE and don’t forget anyone with our top tips…
1. Write a list
First things first, jot down a list of everyone you plan to buy gifts for throughout the year. This may sound simple, but it’s not always easy to remember every niece and nephew!
Keep it in one place that you’ll glance at regularly and note the dates in your Diary
or on your Calendar
2. Listen to your friends and family throughout the year
“Be a good listener. Your ears will never get you in trouble”
– Frank Tyger
You’ll find that most people will be really chuffed that you remembered something they mentioned way back in March more so than another gift set of curious smelling lotions!
Jot down your ‘secret list’ in the notes section at the back of your Diary
3. Nothing beats a homemade gift
Want to win even more points for thoughtfulness and effort? Make something yourself! Here’s a few cute (and funny) ideas we’ve found.

4. Buy some “spare” gifts
Having a spare box of chocolates in the cupboard is ideal for those out-of-the-blue birthdays that you’ve forgotten. Just keep the gift label blank and have a pen handy nearby!
5. And lastly….Re-gifting
Take a note of what people buy you throughout the year. Whilst we may not want to admit it, we all do a bit of re-gifting and there is nothing worse than the horror of re-gifting to the original gift giver!
This guide from Regiftable
