How to stay organised during the summer holidays

As we round up another academic year, the summer holidays have officially begun. Time to put down the books and pick up the sun cream! Whether you’re busy with kids who are out of school, a student who’s picked up a summer job, or you just have some major R&R planned, keep the ball rolling and organise what you want to achieve.

Create a routine (and stick to it!)

It can be easy to fall out of your usual routines during the summer holidays, that’s why a summertime routine will be your saviour! If you stick to it, getting back into a more rigorous schedule after summer won’t be such a shock to the system. Perhaps you want to start going for a walk every morning or set a day each week to meet up with friends.

Get rid of any unwanted clothes, toys, furniture etc. by donating, selling or recycling. Keep healthy

Be your best, most productive self this summer by keeping a healthy balanced diet and staying active. If you’ve already set up a routine of clean eating or working out, keep going! Try packing lunches and snacks for family outings instead of buying out and get creative in the kitchen with nutritious dinners – your body and your wallet will thank you!
