Team Busy B’s Top Travel Destinations

Now that we’re free of the January blues, it’s time to start planning your next trip! Looking for some holiday inspiration? We spoke to some of the Busy B team about their top travel destinations and what travel products help them to stay organised even when they’re on an adventure.

Sarah – Digital Marketing & Brand Manager

“If you’re looking for holiday ideas, I’d suggest doing a road trip through California. We started the drive in San Diego and finished in San Francisco. Along the way, we stopped off in lots of places including Los Angeles. My favourite areas of Los Angeles were Venice Beach and Santa Monica because they had such a relaxing atmosphere with lots of street performers, live music and amazing street food. I would recommend going for a bike ride along Santa Monica beach – it’s a great way to see the coast and is fairly cheap. My personal highlight of the trip was visiting La Jolla in San Diego as I had my first ever surfing lesson there and enjoyed some delicious Mexican food.

The In Flight Pouch is my favourite Busy B travel product. because it is ideal for taking my toiletries and make-up through airport security. It is essential for me when I travel. I also like to use it as a make-up bag when I’m at home too.”

Arianna – Product Manager

“One of my favourite places in the U.K. is Cornwall. I often visit in the Summer to visit friends. I like to stay at The Scarlet Hotel because it is eco-conscious, you can watch magical sunsets over the ocean and has a lovely spa. There are so many fun things to do in Cornwall such as swimming in the ocean, surfing, going for long walks and camping. One of my favourite attractions in the area is the Eden Project, which houses the world’s largest indoor rainforest. They also have an amazing cafe which sells giant scones! There is also a Tate Gallery in St Ives which I like to visit when I’m there.

I always take the Busy B Purse on holiday with me as it also holds my phone so I can just pop it in my pocket when I’m out and about.”

Lily – Digital Marketing Assistant

“I would say the most fascinating place I have ever travelled to is Iceland. I went as part of a geography class trip when I was in school. We visited the Blue Lagoon which is a man-made geothermal spa. It’s amazing and is a great way to relax. There are also many impressive landscapes to see including waterfalls, geysers, volcanoes, glaciers, natural springs and black sand beaches. My favourite things to do were visiting the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon and the Reynisfjara black sand beaches near a village called Vik. We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights!

My favourite Busy B travel product is the Vibrant Vibes Passport Cover. I can always find it in my bag when I’m travelling because of the holographic cover. It’s also great for carrying some bank cards and cash when I don’t want to bring my whole purse with me.”

Peter – Production Manager

“My all-time favourite travel destination is Orlando in Florida – I’ve been 5 times. I travel there with my family and we always have a great experience. The weather is always warm and sunny – quite the contrast from here in Scotland. There are so many things to do in the area including going to theme parks such as Universal Studios, Disneyland and Busch Gardens, to visiting the Kennedy Space Centre which is only a short car journey away from Orlando. The Tampa Bay area is also a good place to visit if you’re looking for a day trip from Orlando.

My most used Busy B travel product is the Travel Journal Booklet. It’s a handy travel-sized organiser for planning your trip and keeping a travel journal.”

Sarah – Sales Executive

“The best holiday I have ever been on was a trip I took to Vietnam a couple of years ago. The country has a great mix of beautiful scenery and culture paired with a very relaxing holiday atmosphere. The Vietnamese food we tried was amazing, especially the street food. The local people were so friendly and helpful too. My favourite experience was when we went on a two-night cruise around Halong Bay. We got to do lots of kayaking, visited gorgeous beaches and even had dinner in a cave. The sunsets we saw in Vietnam were beautiful too. I would love to go back!

As I have two children, I always use the family-sized Travel Wallet when we go on holiday. It holds all our important things such as our passports and travel documents in one place. It helps me stay organised even when I’m on the go.”

We hope the Busy B team have inspired your next adventure and have recommended some travel products to keep you organised even when you’re jet-setting.
